Here's how you can quickly add your website to Online Directories and Search Engines to boost your site's placement and findability on Search Engine Results Pages.
This is very important because if you don't do this, Google may extract text from your web page and use it as the description for your web page.

It may take some time for the search engines' robots (or bots) to index your site so others can find it when they search. To enhance the chances of your web site being found and indexed, be proactive and register it with the following sites:

DMOZ: http://www.dmoz.org/add.html. *
* The Open Directory Project (ODP), is also known as DMOZ, an acronym for Directory Mozilla.

Google: http://www.google.com/addurl/.

Yahoo: http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.html.

Live Search (formerly MSN): http://search.live.com/docs/submit.aspx.

Consider not using free automated submission services to submit your web address to the major search engines. Google and other search engines may consider these as "spam" submissions.
