Whatever service, product or information your website offers, make sure to look at everything from your customer's perspective. All they really care about is "WIIFM" or "What's In It For Me?"
Sometimes, it's hard to look at our websites from a different perspective because we're too close to it and we're proud of what we've created.
The solution is to ask others to look at your website. Give them some relevant tasks and see how they do and what they say.
