Tip of the Week
If you have a business and only wish to target the local market, you can use Google AdWords to do that in 1 of 3 ways:
- Use a local phrase- if you have a pool service in Los Angeles, you can buy specific phrases such as "pool service, Los Angeles" or use a neighborhood such as "pool service, Eagle Rock."
- Use a location- you can geo-target your message so that it only appears within a city, metro region, zip code or a 3 or 5 mile radius from your location.
- Use Google's content network so that your ads show on up high profile local websites such as news sites, TV station sites or city blogs. You can even target the specific page by category, by topic, by URL or by demographics.
Consider using locally targeted Google AdWords for your local business. Chances are the click throughs will be much more qualified.
